Binghamton recently experienced the worst flood of its history. To help with the cleanup of houses, here is a handout and audio recording from a workshop that was held by personnel of a Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Unit that is visiting the area. The speaker is named Randy Creamer and the workshop was held at Davis College on September 16, 2011. The material is provided with permission and can be freely distributed. To contact the flood relief unit, email email@example.com.
The United Way of Broome County is the main coordinator of flood relief in the Binghamton area. Visit their website to donate money or volunteer your services.
The Binghamton Neighborhood Project is directly involved with helping the Sunflower Park neighborhood on upper Murray Street. If you would like to get involved with this effort, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
